Kiran Bais is a committed development professional with over two decades of experience in the social sector. As the Chief Functionary of Aparajita Samajik Samiti since 2012, she has been at the forefront of designing and executing impactful programmes centred on women’s empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, and community development. Her leadership is marked by strategic vision, grassroots engagement, and strong advocacy for gender equity.

Professional Journey
Kiran began her journey in the development sector in the mid-90s and has worked with reputed organizations including Grameen Development Services, Gorakhpur Environmental Action Group, Janhit Foundation and others. She has held diverse roles such as Project Executive, Micro Enterprise Expert, and Programme Coordinator, gaining deep insights into rural development and policy advocacy.

Education and Training
She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Jaunpur University and has undergone extensive training in microfinance, gender sensitization, animal welfare and HIV/AIDS prevention from reputed institutions.

Abhay Pandey serves as the Programme Lead at Aparajita Samajik Samiti, bringing over 7 years of rich experience in public health, disaster response, digital health innovation, community engagement, agriculture and humanitarian response. With a strong academic background in commerce, education and social work, Abhay has led impactful programmes with organizations like Oxfam India, WISH Foundation, Foundation for Research in Health Systems and Poorvanchal Gramin Vikas Sansthan.

He has managed key initiatives across Uttar Pradesh focusing on health systems strengthening, digital transformation, disaster preparedness and vaccination drives. His leadership in field coordination, government liaison and frontline health worker training makes him a key pillar in Aparajita’s mission for inclusive development. Working as a lead he is managing the ongoing programs running in the different districts of Uttar Pradesh, managing team and also working for the business development of the organization.

CL Bajpai has been with Aparajita since 2022, serving as the Accounts and Admin Officer. With a robust background in finance, he manages budgeting, fund utilization and compliance while also overseeing administrative and HR functions. His organized and meticulous approach ensures smooth internal operations and transparency across departments. He has experience of 30 years and has served for many institutions.

Arpita Singh has been working with Aparajita Samajik Samiti since 2022 as a Project Coordinator. She actively leads and supports programmes on women empowerment, nutrition, sustainable agriculture and health awareness in collaboration with partners like Azim Premji Foundation, NABARD and Jiv Daya Foundation. With a background in education and advanced computer skills, Arpita is known for her strong communication, leadership and community engagement abilities. She is passionate about empowering rural women and making development accessible at the grassroots.
