A district level workshop on child labour, marriage and sexual abuse was organised on 31 August 2024 under the Access to Justice Programme. The District Probation Officer Ashwini Tiwari chaired the workshop while Programme Lead Abhay Pandey hosted it.
The primary objective of the workshop was to develop a district-level strategy to address and mitigate the issues of child marriages and child labour. Representatives from various departments shared their insights and contributed to the strategic planning process.
Key participants included Assistant Labour Commissioner NK Chaudhary, ADIOS, CDPO Meenakshi Pandey, CWC President Sarvesh Awasthi, Social Welfare Officer Om Prakash, women police station sub-inspector Priya, sub-inspector Indrajeet, sub-inspector Ajay Kumar, One Stop Centre representative Prabha Mani, and Childline Department representatives Pallavi, Madhuri and Priti.
