Collectives of rural women are being formed and strengthened to make Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) pro-poor, accountable and transparent. By doing so, the programme will enhance local self-governance, ensuring active participation of women in decision-making processes.
The theme addresses critical issues such as gender and caste-based discrimination and domestic violence. By fostering a supportive and informed community of women leaders, the program aims to create a more equitable and just society.
Overall goal is “Empowering Women from vulnerable families for rights and entitlement realization with dignity and engaging them to make transparent and accountable local self-governance system”
