Kiran Bais is a committed development professional with over two decades of experience in the social sector. As the Chief Functionary of Aparajita Samajik Samiti since 2012, she has been at the forefront of designing and executing impactful programmes centred on women’s empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, and community development. Her leadership is marked by strategic vision, grassroots engagement, and strong advocacy for gender equity.

Professional Journey
Kiran began her journey in the development sector in the mid-90s and has worked with reputed organizations including Grameen Development Services, Gorakhpur Environmental Action Group, Janhit Foundation and others. She has held diverse roles such as Project Executive, Micro Enterprise Expert, and Programme Coordinator, gaining deep insights into rural development and policy advocacy.

Education and Training
She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Jaunpur University and has undergone extensive training in microfinance, gender sensitization, animal welfare and HIV/AIDS prevention from reputed institutions.
